Jake Hobson is a data centre infrastructure specialist with over a decade of technical experience in mission-critical environments, specialising in commissioning, electrical infrastructure, integrated systems testing and operational readiness. With a background spanning hyperscale data centre delivery, Jake has extensive expertise in critical power systems, mechanical and electrical infrastructure, commissioning management, technical due diligence and end-to-end project execution. As Founder and CEO of Hobson Infrastructure, he combines deep technical knowledge with commercial expertise in data centre development, capacity leasing, AI/HPC infrastructure and strategic partnerships, supporting complex infrastructure projects across international markets.
Terence Illing
Terence serves as Associate Director at Hobson Infrastructure, supporting the technical and commercial delivery of mission-critical data centre infrastructure projects across international markets. His role encompasses data centre development, technical coordination, infrastructure planning, commissioning oversight and project execution, with a focus on ensuring complex electrical and mechanical systems meet stringent performance, reliability and operational requirements. Working across hyperscale, colocation and AI/HPC infrastructure environments, Terence supports strategic project delivery, technical due diligence and stakeholder coordination, helping bridge engineering requirements with commercial objectives.
